FREE theatre for under 26's A NIGHT LESS ORDINARY

To launch the Arts Council England’s A Night Less Ordinary scheme, TARA Studio opens its doors to the public for a day of FREE events for under 26s on Sat 21st February.


11:00-12:30 PHYSICAL THEATRE WORKSHOP What is physical theatre? Why do directors use physical theatre? What do physical theatre techniques add to a production? Find out the answers to these questions and learn the basic techniques behind physical theatre at our exciting, interactive workshop.

15:00-17:00 BULGARIAN PLAYS PREMIERED! TARA Studio brings a little bit of Bulgaria to London! This public play reading features translations of the Bulgarian plays 'The Serpent’s Wedding' and 'Nirvana'. Our audience will be the first to sample these enchanting pieces, never before performed in Britain.

9:30 TWELFTH NIGHT performed by Arts Beat, TARA’s young people’s theatre group. Arts Beat returns this season with the fourth play in their popular, imaginative reduced Shakespeare series. This spring Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night gets the Arts Beat treatment!
